Website Treasure Hunt
Our new website is but a few weeks old, and early reports indicate it’s making quite a positive impression. Within the website the Go Planner makes it easier for customers to filter and find media assets that best suits their needs. It also incorporates LANDMARKS ID audience insight data to identify which billboards skew to specified age, gender, and shopping category locations. Helpful for advertisers wanting data to inform smarter site selections. To celebrate the launch of our website we’re providing those who get all Treasure Hunt questions correct, the chance to win 1 of 10 $100 Prezzie Cards.
Good Impressions Are Go
We recently launched our new Good Impressions initiative at events in Wellington, Christchurch, and Auckland, which received rapturous reviews and support from attendees. Good Impressions enables clients to play an active role in donating advertising exposure on our digital billboards to charitable organisations achieving positive social outcomes across Aotearoa. There are 12 charitable organisations we’ve categorised under Wellbeing, Environment and People. Such benefitting organisations include MATES in Construction, Sustainable Coastlines, and Inspiring Stories.
EV Buses are Workhorses in Wellington Fleet
Greater Wellington Regional Council has informed us the bus operators in the region have been incentivised to maximise the number of hours their EV fleet is on the road. The high price of diesel has been a big driver of this change. Early reports suggest the EV fleet is on the road 30% more hours a week compared to their diesel counterparts. Another benefit of placing your advertising on the EV fleet is that the EV charging bays are sheltered, which makes it that much easier to apply the ad-material, especially during winter when weather can potentially delay their application. Contact your Go Media sales representative to book the EV units.

5 New Digital Screens Takes Network to 77
Over the last two months Go Media has built 5 new digital screens in Auckland, Christchurch, and Timaru. Two spectacular sized screens have gone live in Auckland. One facing inbound commuter traffic on Fanshawe St in Auckland’s CBD. The other overlooks the Kingsland train station and Eden Park beyond, which makes it an ideal screen to reach tens of thousands of attending sports fans and event goers. A new 12x3m screen located on Riccarton Rd captures audiences en route to Christchurch’s busiest Westfield shopping mall. And most recently two portrait screens have been installed at the southern gateway to Timaru, facing inbound and outbound audiences.
New Go Media Brandmark
Also launched in recent times is our refreshed brand-mark. With the business evolving and making massive advances in digital OOH, the time was right to refresh how our brand was represented in market. We started with a rewrite of our brand story, purpose, and values, which was workshopped company-wide. The new logo retains the ‘GO’ shield which is synonymous with the moment of exhilaration that comes with acceleration and moving forward. To declutter the logo the border has been dropped in favour of a floating ‘Media’. A more poppy colour palette has been selected, too. In the coming months site-tags, marketing materials and company vehicle livery will all be changed-out.
