Go Media have partnered with Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ) to help promote their safety messaging in conjunction with the new Safeswim app to be launched across the country this month.

Auckland Council have developed the app based on their successful safeswim.org.nz website. This partnership with SLSNZ aims to let beachgoers know which beaches are lifeguarded and when, as well as providing live safety warnings in addition to real time water quality information in Auckland and Northland.

Head of Commercial & Marketing at SLSNZ, Jo Clark, says: “It is incredibly important we reach as many people as possible to ensure that our safety messages are heard and understood, and that everyone knows that Safeswim is the place to go to get the latest information on lifeguarded beaches”.

Go Media will be helping to amplify this campaign across their digital billboard network, now boasting 114 screens nationwide.

“We are delighted to be announcing our partnership with Go Media, and working with their dedicated and passionate team with the aim to help save more lives this summer” says Clark.

Mike Gray, Managing Director of Go Media, says: “We are thrilled to be working with SLSNZ as a new partner. With a public platform as large as ours, it’s critical that we play our part to educate and keep both locals and tourists safe this summer”, comments
