Good Impressions Initiative Is Back For Year 3
Following the remarkable success of its first two years, we are thrilled to announce the continuation of the Good Impressions Initiative for its third year.
With over 257 million impressions donated to 15 charities across New Zealand in two years, the initiative is set to expand its reach and impact even further in the year ahead.
The Good Impressions Initiative empowers Go Media and it’s customers to contribute by donating their advertising impressions to support social causes across three key pillars: Wellbeing, Environment, and People. These donated impressions are showcased on Go Media’s extensive network of digital billboards, amplifying the message of the selected charities and driving positive change in Aotearoa.
Year Three Highlights:
- Increased Impact: Building on the success of previous years, the initiative will support 25 charities this year, including a mix of returning and new organizations such as Sustainable Coastlines, I AM HOPE, MATES in Construction New Zealand, and Kaibosh.
- Extended Reach: By broadening the number of beneficiary organisations, Go Media aims to enhance the visibility and impact of a diverse range of causes, ensuring a wider reach and greater community benefit.
“Kaibosh has been a proud charity partner of Go Media in their amazing Good Impressions programme since 2022. Gaining access to large outdoor media has been amazing for Kaibosh - boosting our profile right across the greater Wellington region! We have noticed more individual donations from people and even offers of homegrown fruit and veges for us to distribute to local whānau - many of these donations come in when our billboards are up in lights around town!”– Alex MacGibbon, Marketing and Communications Manager for Kaibosh Food Rescue
“We have benefited in many ways from the incredible support we’ve received from Go Media. This partnership has allowed us to reach a significantly larger audience, directly leading to more volunteer mentors joining our programme. In the history of Big Brothers Big Sisters, we’ve never had such a tremendous opportunity to spread the word about our vital mahi. You have all been an absolute dream to collaborate with, and we truly value this initiative. – Cushla Duncan, Communications Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Zealand
Simon Teagley, GM at Go Media, reflects on the journey so far: "The success of the Good Impressions Initiative has been beyond our expectations. Watching the meaningful difference it has made to the charities and the lives they've touched is truly inspiring. The continuous encouragement from both the organizations and their communities affirms that we're on the right path to helping Kiwis.“
